Kneipp lip care series naturally contains only vegetable oils product without mineral oils or synthetic ingredients. This is a modern, innovative and sustainable product, 100% natural formula with an intensive and long lasting care for lips. The folding box is made of grass cardboard with 25% grass share. This comes from compensation areas in Germany and saves harmful greenhouse gases through short transport routes. In addition, production requires around 3,000 liters less water per ton of cardboard than is the case with commercially available paper made from 100% sulphate-based pulp. Cork is a renewable raw material source. In the lower shell of the lip balms we use recycled cork, which is a waste product of wine cork production. The packaging with cork in the sleeve of the lip care stick and grass in the folding box was awarded the German Packaging Prize 2018 in the sustainability category.
